SCT Summer Dance Program

Have FUN learning different styles of dance! 

In Summer 2018, we will present 5 styles of dance -

Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Broadway Jazz, Contemporary, Stretch Class, and Dunham Technique

for ages 5-7, 8-11, and 8+.

​

**Dunham Technique will be used for choreography for Disney The Lion King, Jr.**

​

Each class will be 1 hour and 15 minutes 

​

​

Classes Mondays through Thursdays

June 25th - August 16th

​

$80 per class for the Summer Dance Program

​

Discounts - $10 sibling discount

​

Students will have to register online and fill out a medical authorization form

​

SUMMER DANCE CLASS SCHEDULE

SCT Dance Program Attire

Please note - There should be no underwear showing in any dance class, which includes bras and panties. Please be neat in your appearance. No shorts or crop tops. No excessive jewelry.

Girls may need sports bras under dance attire. Boys will need compression shorts or dance belt.

GIRLS

Ballet: 

Black leotard

Pink or flesh colored tights

Pink ballet shoes (leather)

Hair pulled back securely in a bun

No jewelry

Hip Hop:

Active-wear 

Sneakers used for class only 

​

Jazz:

Leotard with tights or Jazz pants (no shorts)

Jazz shoes (no sneakers)

​

Contemporary:

Leotard with footless tights, unitard (no shorts)

Barefoot or halfsoles

​

Tap:

Black leotard with dance bottoms 

Tap shoes (ask the instructor)

​

​

BOYS

Ballet: 

Jazz pants or shorts (active wear)

White T-shirt (formfitting)

White socks

White or Black ballet shoes (leather)

Hair nice and neat, no jewelry

​

Hip Hop:

Active-wear

Sneakers used for class only

​

Jazz:

Solid colored T-shirt (formfitting)

Jazz pants

Black Jazz shoes (no sneakers)

​

Contemporary:

 T-shirt (formfitting) 

Jazz pants or shorts (active wear)

Barefoot or halfsoles

​

Tap:

Dancewear, active wear or sweats

Tap shoes (ask the instructor)
