Syracuse Children’s Theatre is an EOE (Equal Opportunity Employer). We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. Syracuse Children's Theatre does not discriminate in employment on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, genetic information, age, membership in an employee organization, retaliation, parental status, military service, or other non-merit factor.
Current and former students age 16 and over with interests in the performing arts are encouraged to apply for internships with Syracuse Children’s Theatre. Interns work with teaching artists to develop their skills as performers and educators. Student interns assist with backstage, music, choreography, directing, and administration. Students interested in serving as an intern must show leadership abilities, a passion for the arts, and a dedication to honing their skills. Student interns will receive class discounts and have gone on to study at some of the top performing arts colleges, universities, and conservatories.
